Both the landscape and the community inspired a new body of work for Ayan Rivera after his recent move to Bainbridge Island. This work includes the classical four subjects of bamboo, orchid, chrysanthemum and plum blossom as well as as well as interpretive departures from tradition.

Ayan has been painting up a storm. I think this move to Bainbridge has really sparked all his creative juices. Now we have so much art, we have no place to store it. Sale Time!
